A long list of links and text is a lot to process in your second language. The problem becomes more acute on smaller screens. To help students navigate, I added icons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now each lesson has a clickable icon associated with it at the top of the page. Each icon is thematically related to a lesson. Clicking one icon instantly repositions the page to that lesson. Within each lesson, there are icons to help students understand what\u2019s expected of them in the lab and for homework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Icon navigation eliminates a lot of scrolling and confusion for students.
